Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Central Europe and Italy — guided properly, with someone who knows the back roads as well as the landmarks. Over ten thousand guests and counting.
Europe changed my life. Born in the small rural town of Cobram, Australia, at 21 I set off on what was meant to be a six-week holiday — and I never looked back. After 25 years with Trafalgar, I still feel it every time.
The groups I love most span generations: young families and grandparents, honeymooners and seasoned travellers, five to ninety on the same coach, sharing the same table. That mix is what turns a tour group into a family. Connecting them with the local people I've known for years — the restaurant owner who comes out of the kitchen, the craftsman who's been at his bench for decades — that's what makes Europe feel like it truly belongs to them.
I grew up with Europe as my classroom, and after more than two decades on the road it still surprises me. Every group finds something different in the same piazza, the same mountain pass, the same canal. That's the thing I'll never tire of — watching someone fall in love with a place for the first time.

Summit to Sea —
Luzern to Venice
Today we journey from 1,900 metres above sea level to sea level in a single unforgettable day. We begin by ascending Mount Stanserhorn on the world's only open-air CabriO cable car, where stunning alpine vistas stretch across the heart of Switzerland.
After travelling through spectacular mountain scenery and crossing into Italy, we arrive in the extraordinary city of Venice. Our journey concludes in style as we glide by private water taxi along the famous Grand Canal before exploring Venice's hidden waterways aboard a traditional gondola.
From the heights of the Swiss Alps to the canals of Venice — a day packed with incredible scenery and lasting memories.
